This year, the Lights on the Hill Memorial Convoy is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary since the first convoy. To help celebrate we are holding a colouring in competition with awesome prizes up for grabs. The competition is open to primary school children in two categories – prep to grade 3 and grade 4 to grade 6.
The entries are due by 20th of August so make sure to get in them as soon as you can.

Terms and Conditions
- Entry forms are available to download online at www.lightsonthehill.com.au.
- Entries can be submitted as follows:
- at the office of the State Member for Lockyer, Mr Jim McDonald, North St, Gatton
- by post to PO Box 11304, Centenary Heights Qld 4350
- by email to lightsonthehill@live.com.au
- To be valid for judging entries must be submitted before 4pm Sunday 20 August 2023 at the above locations.
- You may enter in only one age category. The age group categories are Prep to Year 3; Year 4 to Year 6.
- Only one entry per person.
- Permission to enter competition must be sought from the child’s parent or legal guardian.
- The competition commences on Monday 10 July 2023 and closes at 4pm Sunday 20 August 2023. Entries received after the closing date will be deemed invalid.
- The promoter Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial Incorporated accepts no responsibility for late or lost entries.
- All entries will be judged between Monday 21 August and Friday 25 August 2023. The best entry in each age category will win the nominated prize.
- The winner will be notified by phone and/or email no later than 5pm Sunday 27 August 2023.
- Names and colouring entries of the winners will be published on the Lights on the Hill Memorial Convoy Facebook page on Monday 28 August 2023.
- Prizes will be presented at the school of the winner by arrangement.
- Prizes for age category Years 4 – 6 – 1st prize: Family pass to Convoy plus $30 LV Gift Card; 2ndprize: Convoy cap plus $20 LV Gift Card; 3rd prize: Gift bag plus $10 LV Gift Card
- Prizes for age category Years Prep to 3 – 1st prize: Family pass to Convoy plus $30 LV Gift Card; 2ndprize: Convoy bucket hat, plus $20 LV Gift Card; 3rd prize: Gift bag plus $10 LV Gift Card
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant where the Promoter believed that the entry of the entry process has been tampered with or where any entry has been submitted not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
- The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The prize cannot be redeemed for cash and no part of the prize can be refunded.
